Brick as an Image 4 & 5- Irina

This is an example of very good use of colour in brick work that i came across. It used the flemish bond to achieve heads and face of the bricks on the top of the other. The heads carried the colour, while the faces were kept as red.

This is quite an interesting arrangement of bricks to be a column. It seems that the columns are the structure support rather than just the decoration.

A very nice combination used of two colour bricks in this high rise building. What really strike me is the detailing although it is just using stretch bond.

This is an interesting office building. The brickwork is not very neat, but it stood up. I also find it really hard to identify the joint used.
