· The walls are built in English bond.

· There are areas of the building that have been extensively restored (i.e. above and below the windows) and the mortar joints in these areas appear ironed or tooled perhaps to blend in with the buildings original mortar joints.

· The bricks are mainly pale beige scattered with dark over fired bricks. The faces of the bricks are severely eroded leaving cracks discolouration. the mortar between them at certain parts has turned to dust.
