A blue glazed brick is used as a decorative element at the base of the building. The brick walls structural and are made up of a stretcher bond with iron joints. The building also uses two other types of bricks: a darker red and a light orange. Due to wearing small chips are visible on the edges of some of the glazed bricks. Cant bricks are also used in the formation of window openings.
A combination of different arches over windows forms the facade of this building highlighted by a brighter red colour brick. The varying arches range from flat, segmented to circular arches. The brick walls are structural and have an English bond with flush joint. The red bricks are also corbelled in the formation of a large window sill which also incorporates plinth and scotia types of special bricks.
