-Stretcher bond.
- Raked joint with white mortar.
- Contrasting brick colour used such as cream and brown and brown and dark brown.
- Interesting patterns are created by using a rebated jamb to extrude and recede bricks on the facade.
- Bricks serve as a non-structural role as it can not support such a high-rise building.
-Mortar joints have no fared well in the severe marine environment (Pyrmont) as is shown from the image above.
- Sills are defined by a course of headers.
- Texture of brickwork is very smooth.
Likely to have been constructed from extruded bricks.
