Lara Low 9

242 Young St, Waterloo

Bricks have been rendered with pink-mauve paint.

Flat gauged arch above the window was most likely previously pointed. English bond surrounding it, with raked joints prior to rendering.

The extra row of headers underneath the lower plasterwork alternate between flush and protruding from the main face of the brickwork. Above this plasterwork, the brickwork changes to a stretcher bond with recesses that are 1/4 of a brick's length wide.

Corbelling.
