· The walls are built in Flemish bond.

· The bricks used are lightly coloured under fired red clay.

· The bricks seem to have a lot of cracks and imperfections. The seem to be discouloured mainly because of take up of pollution from the atmosphere possibly due to the building proximity to Central Railway station and the porous nature of the bricks used.

· The mortar joints are heavily restored and are now flush.
