The TAFE building is a traditional styled building consisting of English bond bricks with raked joints. The surface texture of the bricks are wire cut, having a slightly rough texture on their face. The majority of the building is made from bricks, which play a structural role. There are minor defects in the bricks, with few cracks in the mortar joints and bricks. The colours used in the bricks are a varying range of dark brown colours, with the arches being blue-coloured. Headers are used for the arches to create the circular shape.
