Where glazed clay brick was used as a minor decorative element to the Pyrmont appartments, glazed clay brick is used for maximum affect. Present on only parts of this Surry Hills multiple purpose block, the brickwork appears to be an aesthetic element to the building. clearly made apparent by its scarce use.

The simplicity evoked by Strecher bonidng and clean tooled jointing is enhanced by the glowing smoothness of the black glazed brickwork.
