- English Bond.
- Raked Joint with white Mortar.
- Bricks are smaller than standard size, this allows the surface to appear to be made of one continuous strip of brick.
- Inner curve is achieved through courses of headers.
- Windows are defined by sandstone (e.g. circular arch, keystone, edges of building also has the ocassional sandstone.)
-Bricks serve a non-structural role (aesthetic purposes only).
-The interior of this structure appears to have been refurbished with steel structures.
- Base of the building rests on sandstone, sandstone is a common material used within the Sydney CBD.
- After several courses of brickwork, one course is receded. This creates very interesting patterns.
- The texture of the building is quite smooth on the bricks and rough on the sandstone base.
- Brickwork appears to have rarely any faults or cracks. It has been constructed by skilled bricklayers.
